Overview
Under general supervision of the General Manager, the part-time IT Supervisor is responsible for installation and maintenance of hardware, software, and peripherals for the TD Coliseum technology functions on a day-to-day basis as well as providing support to event-specific IT needs. They will also work closely with leadership to develop strategic plans for venue technology systems that enhance the operations of the food and beverage hospitality team. This position requires availability during nonstandard working hours, including weekends and holidays.
This role pays an hourly rate of $26.00-$30.00 CAD

Responsibilities
Manage the team responsible for the installation and maintenance of onsite hardware and software including workstations, mobile devices, multimedia displays, and video conference system support
Provide day-to-day technical support to leadership, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving technology-related issues.
Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the venue’s Point-of-Sale (POS) systems.
Manage and update digital menu boards, including IPTV systems, ensuring accurate and timely content display.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology solutions align with operational needs.
Maintain documentation of system configurations, updates, and support procedures.
Manage the systems and technologies that support technology for the hospitality food & beverage food and business (Device Management, Identity, Access Control, etc.)
Provide technical leadership and support for all onsite staff and contractors
Understand and support event operations of Point of Sale, Network, Wi-Fi, Events, and Operations needs
Diagnose and repair hardware issues, contacting appropriate service vendors when necessary
Maintain efficient equipment storage and inventory for all technical assets
Report any system failures to Leadership promptly
Document process/procedures and label equipment as needed
Develop and implement an equipment preventative maintenance program
Effectively organize and schedule upgrades/maintenance
Support a wide range of physical cabling and wireless infrastructure (Fiber/Copper/AV/Broadcast/Wireless)
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
One to three (1-3) years of experience in an IT or Desktop Support role, preferably in the events and sports/entertainment industry.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Office suite.
Proficiency with Windows operating systems, hardware, and peripherals.
Experience with multi-function imaging devices, copiers, and printers.
Basic knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting iOS and Android based mobile devices.
Basic understanding of networking protocols and troubleshooting (CCNA or equivalent a strong plus).
Have experience supporting network equipment such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, professional and courteous manner which fosters a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.
Effectively work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Must be detail oriented and possess excellent follow-through skills.
Excellent documentation and process skills.
Ability to work independently, exercising judgment and initiative.
The ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
Ability to consistently adhere to the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality.
